- Every time a student submits a homework solution, a submission is created
- A student must select “I affirm that I have complied with this course’s academic integrity policy as defined in the syllabus.” before being able to submit.
- All of the below behaviors are the default, but can be configured
- The submission will then automatically be sent for autograding
- A student will not be limited in the amount of times they can make a submission to the assessment
- However, they will be penalized (in terms of absolute points, or percentage) after the 3rd submission

- Once the submission is graded and returns to Autolab, the score is “withdrawn” and thus a student will not see their number grade
- After the assessment ends, then all submissions will be “released” and then students will see their number grades
